Dr Shear has been my periodontist for three decades. He is WONDERFUL in the care of my teeth, I have not lost one in all those years. He is kind, professional, gentle, and up to date on everything that is new in periodontics. Dr Shear is the BEST!!!

Dr. Shear is a perfectionist. He pays great attention to detail and really, you're not done until *he's* done. But when he's happy with the work he did to your mouth I promise, *you* will be happy. He's been my periodontist for 20+ years. Under his guidance my dentition has improved tremendously. Medical specialists are not inexpensive but there comes a time when we reach a certain age and we need their guidance. Make an appointment. You will be happy.

Dr. Elliot Shear always strives to provide the very best quality treatment for his patients in helping them maintain good oral health. He achieves this by constant study of new treatment modalities and advancements in the dental literature he reads both subscribed and online and by the numerous courses and the periodontal conventions with the lectures he attends. Dr. Shear is a very caring person for his patients well being throughout their treatment and nothing is more important to him then producing a successful outcome for them. He and his Staff provide a kind, professional, treatment environment for their patients always. Additionally, and most importantly, Dr. Shear works very closely with his referring dentists, be they general practioners or specialists. He makes himself available to these referring dentists by phone, by meeting directly with them to discuss complex cases, and his staff provide the very best correspondence and updates to these referring doctors keeping them well informed of the shared treatment progress of their patients. Dr. Shear is a caring, gentle, totally informed, EXCELLENT person and periodontist! He has helped me so much throughout the years and I totally appreciate him! His staff is very good also! 😊

Dr.Shear is an outstanding Periodontist. He is extremely cautious and because of this he does not rush to surgery.He does approach symptoms in steps. Always trying to aleviate the problems with his very large amount of medical knowledge , from many many years in practice. Besides his expertise, as a person, he is kind, caring, excellent listening skills and has a beautiful soul. A patient is in the best of hands with Dr. Shear. I might add his staff is also terrific Beverly the nurse by his side is top notch. The front desk with Ilka running it is flawless and she makes you comfortable from the minute yout meet her.
